A Big Girl Room

Grace moved into her big girl room over Christmas and started sleeping in her bed around the first of the year but her room was a work in progress so it took a little time before I finished it!!

Chris did all the painting (and repainting because I changed my mind on the color twice) and he also did all the bead board and trim!! I think it turned out perfect and was just what I had pictured in my mind. I still have to finish the old window pane that will go over her bed so that is why there is a big awkward space there!!

I am still looking for a curtain that I like - I again have something pictured in my mind and cannot find anything that fits so far...

Of course it has never looked this neat and clean since!!! There are tons of stuffed animals that "live" on her bed now and she keeps all her books on the floor next to her bed instead of on the shelves!!
