An ouchie and a birthday party

These two events were separate in Gracie's life but I decided to post them all together since she has such a pretty nose in these pictures - We had our first real ouchie this March - Gracie was running on the sidewalk and tripped over her new shoes (that were too big) and took a face plant into the concrete - luckily she put her hands out at the last minute so she caught some of the fall but unfortunately her nose caught the rest!!! It was hard to keep clean but it seems to have healed without a scar so we are thankful for that - thanks to saline boogie wipes!!!! playing ball in the driveway - notice the nose injury - it bothered me much more than it ever bothered Grace - although if we talked about the fall in front of her, she would start fake crying and holding her nose - such a little drama queen!!!

My friend Kara's little boy had a birthday party at powersports - Grace LOVES powersports and the older she gets the more fun she has at these parties - she played so hard with all the big kids and by the end of the party had taught herself how to climb up the bouncy slide and slide down with all the "big" boys!!!

Climbing out of the foam pit - this was my least favorite activity - she had foam lint all over her!!

I LOVE this picture - it is so indicative of her personality these days - she is such a little ham!! I told her to show me her animals and make their sounds...this is what I got!!!

putting on her flip flops - I bought her a couple of pair of flip flops at Target a few weeks ago - not sure if she would keep them on or not - she LOVES them because she can put them on by herself...something she is all about these days!!!
