Welcome 2012

Happy 2012!! I am so behind on my blog!!! My New Year's resolution...to update my blog and continue to do it regularly!! Here is a sneak peak at what we have been up to this holiday season...
Grace started off the Christmas season hanging out with Mary & Joseph at our church's Night in Bethlehem - such a neat way to remember the real meaning of Christmas!! Grace was very concerned as to where baby Jesus was though!!!
This was one of our MANY photo sessions for Christmas cards - we are really into posing these days which can be quite frustrating at times!!
We started the Elf on a Shelf tradition - and this was about as creative as Flower got at our house - we had many a morning of making a mad dash to the Elf and trying to hide him before Grace realized he didn't move!!
We had 4 Christmases this year - yes, 4 - a little overwhelming for our "active" little 3-year-old but it is only every other year that we have to split them up like that so next year should be better!! We have a traditional Christmas Eve with the Carter side every year and Chris' mom does it right!!!! Turkey, dressing and all the traditional sides as well as tons of homemade desserts!! This year Gracie claimed one of Chris' turkey legs - you should have seen his face when he realized he was going to have to share it!!
All Grace asked for over and over to every Santa she visited was a Tinkerbell house and a Tinkerbell - this is what she got from her Grammy and Grandad - we told her Santa let them have it early to give it to her that night - worked this year...

This was the Mobley pre-Christmas with the Parks Family - they had to go to Tennessee this year on Christmas so we celebrated with them on the 19th
And I could not leave out the Tacky Christmas sweater party we attended with our Sunday School Class - Chris WON - you will see why when you see his picture!! He was none too happy when he found out I bought him something to wear - he had been very clear that he was NOT participating but I could not resist this purchase when I came across it at Walmart that day!!

Such a good sport!!! And I have to say, he rocked that outfit!!!

More to come very soon!!!
