Chris graduated from Sam Houston State University on May 11, 2012 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Ten years ago when we got married he told me the one thing he regretted never doing was finishing college - he decided after 2 years at Texas State to go into the Army (a dream he had since a small child) Having a college degree was something he always wanted but we both never thought it would happen - well he proved EVERYONE wrong and 2 years ago decided to go back to school FULLTIME while working FULLTIME and finish. Not only did he graduate but he did so with a 3.5 grade point average at Sam as well as being an amazing daddy, husband and employee!! We are so proud of him!!!

The stoll around his neck was given to all graduating veterans - we are so excited for the next step in his educational career - he started graduate school on June2nd to get his counseling degree - that will have to be another post but the story behind it is amazing!!
